Dr. Michelle Bajjalieh
Dr. Michelle Bajjalieh is a Board-Certified pediatric dentist who specializes in oral healthcare for infants, children, adolescents and individuals with special health care needs. Dr. Bajjalieh received her Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College with honors. She then attained a Masters in Public Health in Maternal and Child Health with honors. Dr. Bajjalieh earned her doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She then completed her certification in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Alabama and the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She is the recipient of the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, given to those scoring within the top 3% of the nation on board certification. She stays current in the field of dentistry by remaining active in continuing education each year.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Bajjalieh is on the medical staff at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has served as both President and Vice President of the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Bajjalieh is an active member of many local, state and national organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She has previously served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
